Our story

Co-owners Élise Page and Teri-Lynn Friesen met while teaching at a local dance studio many years ago. They became friends and continued to pursue their respective careers in dance and theatre until one fateful day at a staff meeting Élise offhandedly made a comment about wanting to open an ice cream shop. Little did she know that this was also a dream of Teri-Lynn’s who had been researching the idea for the last year. From that point the two began developing and perfecting their ice cream recipe with the team at the University of Manitoba Dairy Science Program.

They spent countless hours tweaking and perfecting a series of core flavours with the guiding principle of keeping the ice cream wholesome, real and delicious- something they would be proud to serve to their grandmothers and families. In the summer of 2019 they brought their ice cream to the Wolseley and River Height’s Farmer’s Markets and by November of 2019 they were able to open their storefront, located at 300 Assiniboine Ave.
